Passive errors...

Featured Replies

Are these passive errors? Everything is operating ok, Googling the errors really didn't indicate something was wrong and could be completely normal.

Jan 17 16:19:20 SUN kernel: CIFS VFS: Error connecting to socket. Aborting operation.

Jan 17 16:19:20 SUN kernel: CIFS VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -113

Jan 17 16:19:26 SUN kernel: CIFS VFS: Error connecting to socket. Aborting operation.

And then I see this last one. Relating to avahi and mdns, but I think just passive error.

Jan 17 16:19:27 SUN avahi-daemon[22478]: WARNING: No NSS support for mDNS detected, consider installing nss-mdns!

This is what happens when adding color to the syslog! :)

Betaman, I posted this in January. I doubt we'll get a response. Hopefully the errors don't mean anything negative.
