January 31, 201610 yr I bought pro a while ago but never switched because I'm still filling the 2 drives using the free version of unraid. Well now things are getting borked with the webgui so I'm considering switching. I've got two USB drives with pro but when I boot to them I get "SYSLINUX 3.72 2008-09-25 EBIOS COPYRIGHT H. PETER ANVIN boot:" and that's it. What's the procedure to set this up? Do I need to manually edit some files on the drive?
January 31, 201610 yr I would copy off the .key license files from each USB drive (as they are specific to USB drive) to a safe place and proceed as if starting from new. There are online guides on what to do. The process is basically the same for v5 or v6 - just download the version you intend to use. That would ensure that you have the latest v5 or v6 release as appropriate.

You can, and I also have two licensed USB disks and keep both keys on both sticks. Unraid will still work fine. You will need to use the original flash disks though.
January 31, 201610 yr Author Correct me if I'm wrong but... basically, format the disks, copy all data from unzipped download, paste keys, done.

January 31, 201610 yr Correct me if I'm wrong but... basically, format the disks, copy all data from unzipped download, paste keys, done. at the end you also have to run the make_bootable.bat file to make the USB bootable. This is covered in the instructions.
January 31, 201610 yr Author done. verifying the array - will take 9 hours. I like the version 6 layout too!
