February 4, 201610 yr Since these are 7200RPM, are these much noisier than the WD Reds while spinning and seeking? My array is in an unfinished basement. It could scream like a Banshee and I wouldn't know or care. I do not think any drives are noisy, it is the air movement that I hear when I am down there.
