February 11, 201610 yr Been running the new preclear plugin (v1.15) on a 5TB drive for about 4 or 5 days. I've been watching the progress (pretty slow at 36mb/s, it started at around 100mb/s), but for over 24 hours now, its been at the same place: Is there a way to see if the drive has activity? The drive light is steady, no activity. How long should I let it stay in this state?
February 12, 201610 yr Author How long has it been in this state? This is my 2nd Seagate ST5000DM000 drive, the other cleared preclear with no issues.

February 12, 201610 yr 3-4 days now. I am not aware how to stop it without rebooting the unRAID server which I plan to do this weekend. Can you open a terminal? If so you can use the top command to list all the processes and process ids. Then the kill [process id] command to stop the process.

Just didn't want to stop it prematurely until the plugin owner had a chance to review - in case there was a diagnostic they wanted to perform... As I mentioned in the previous post, gfardim recommended reposting, so I did... we'll see what comes about of it...
