Preclear stuck

Featured Replies

I started a preclear of two disks yesterday morning.  One of the two appears to be stuck. The console has looked like this for hours.

The syslog is full of this error.

I have attached the syslog.  What does this error mean? Bad disk? Start over?

It means that either you have a bad disk (or more likely) the disk has dropped offline for some reason.  I suspect that you will have to reboot the system and start over.  Should probably check all power and SATA cabling at the same time.

Okay. I'll try all that after the preclear of the other disk is complete.
