Delete certain files from all folders

Featured Replies

So if I want to clean up some folder and want to delete all the JPG files that are in each folder under /mnt/user/TV Shows

how would I do that?

For example under /mnt/user/TV Shows  I have my TV Shows in folders 24, Band a Brothers, Breaking Bad etc.  Inside those folders they are broken down by season and have some other files in them I want deleted.  Any way I can delete them all through terminal?

Run:

root@Tower:~# find /mnt/user/"TV Shows" -iname '*jpg' | less

and if the output is ok, run:

root@Tower:~# find /mnt/user/"TV Shows" -iname '*jpg' -exec rm -v '{}' \;
