That's about it!

 

The unRAID configuration is on the boot drive, and includes the serial numbers of all drives assigned.  The config does NOT contain any other hardware dependent info, so you can change out motherboard, CPU, NIC's, and controllers any time.  On boot, unRAID checks what's there and builds a completely new Linux system every time, specific to the current hardware only.  Makes it very portable!
