Hi there, i'm still new here ad is trying to figure it all out.

 

I've got a xw8600 up and running unRAID, it all works fine, but i was wondering ... i've played a bit with the thought of doing a GPU passthrough to my windows VM, not that i need it but - more is more.

 

The w8600 has dual Intel Xeon E5410, and as far as I can see it dosen't have Vt-d, but, under "info" i got

HVM: Enabled and IOMMU: Enabled. and in BIOS i got

Intel Virtualization Technology: Enabled and Intel IO Virtualization: Enabled.

 

But, again, GPU passthrough should not work - right?

    This forum is for running an Unraid virtual machine rather than running virtual machines on Unraid. 

     

    (Some people use ESXI and run an Unraid VM and I run an Unraid VM in Unraid itself.)
