March 8, 201610 yr My server keeps randomly becoming unresponsive. This last time it was up for 3 days working fine then this morning the only things responsive is the console, no SMB no telnet..... I have attached the pre and post boot diagnostic logs. ds9-diagnostics-20160308-0706_-_preboot.zip ds9-diagnostics-20160308-0745-afterreboot.zip
March 8, 201610 yr Tell us about your system, what is the hardware, motherboard model, model of your power supply, video card? how much RAM? what model CPU? Do you have virtualization and AHCI turned on in in the BIOS? How many disks and what are they connected to? I might suggest you try running memtest as well.

March 8, 201610 yr Hmm that is odd, my gut tells me UnRaid doesn't like something about your hardware, but someone with more experience should look at your logs to get a better idea. My first thought was the Rocketraid controller but it appears to be fully supported so I am not sure, sorry.
March 8, 201610 yr Community Expert Is this a new built or using any new hardware? Details on that PS might be an important clue. A 450W unit may be marginal for this application.
March 8, 201610 yr Except it ran for over a year running on Windows 7, so that means the ps is capable of supporting the hardware sufficiently, unless its on its way out.
March 9, 201610 yr Author Well since I am not able to keep unRaid stable and my windows 7 VM is extremely slow using either KVM or VirtualBox, I am going to go back to using Windows 7 as the native OS with DriveBender ( as I have for a few years) but I think I am going to add in snapraid so I have some parity. I am going to wait and buy new hardware and try again later.
