March 8, 201610 yr In the Sickrage Docker edit config it requests the location for \config-- I located it on cache drvie apps data The next two have me confused on where I should point it Option 1 is where transmission downloads files -- Cache drive downloads completed Option 2 is where my TV shows are -- user share tvshows \data \media Once this is setup properly I am making the assumption that I do not have to make any changes in the GUI execpt for search providers, notifactions and some quality preferences
March 8, 201610 yr On my machine, I have docker set up with 3 volume mappings (see attachment for screenshot). /config: As you've already configured, should live in the appdata area on your cache drive. /downloads: This is where downloaded media (from SAB, transmission, etc.) will live. This is where sickbeard (or sickrage in your case) will look for files to index. There is no need to take up space on your cache drive for this. I store mine in {my media share}/SABnzbd/tv. /tv: This is where you want your organized television collection to live. When you add a new TV show to sickrage, this is where it will create the show's folder, and where it will move media to once it has been indexed. Full disclosure, all my info is based on Sickbeard, not SickRage, but I'm assuming the setup is almost the same.
March 9, 201610 yr Author Sweet Deal that works Also was reading and found this https://github.com/SiCKRAGETV/issues/wiki/Settings-explained Now I am trying to setup a post processing script with Sickrage and Transmission so sickrage is not always looking for files So far it look complicated lol

I have the best of luck using NZBs.... and makes the process completely automatic. With torrents (which I use as a backup) I use ruTorrent Docker. It is a little more compliecated to use. I manually download the torrents, and from Sickrage, I manually execute the post-process command. I can explain this in detail. I can guide you with both. but I need to know which is the primary method of downloading.
March 9, 201610 yr Author I started this with sickrage because I am more familar with torrents then nzb I am interested in nzb and have loaded NZBget but I donnt understand the requirement for usernet account and it seems that costs money (I am cheap lol) open to any help provided
March 10, 201610 yr I started this with sickrage because I am more familar with torrents then nzb I am interested in nzb and have loaded NZBget but I donnt understand the requirement for usernet account and it seems that costs money (I am cheap lol) open to any help provided With NZBs you will need to get accounts at indexer sites. Most of the good ones are private and closed to new registrants. Also most of them want regular donations. In addition, you need to get a usenet account provider. These range around $10-$15 monthly. It is all a bit of a learning curve, but it makes the process quite automated. Unfortunately I do not have the experience using Sickrage with torrents. When a show is missed by the NZB method (or old shows are not available on usenet) I manually search and download the correct torrents. I then use Sickrage to post-process the completed download.
