March 14, 201610 yr The version of docker included in unRAID 6 is 1.7.1, and there appears to be no way to manually update this. 1.7.1 is horrendously out of date - it released roughly 8 months ago and the amount of bug fixes and improvements in even just the next release ( 1.8 ) is staggering, see the full list here: https://github.com/docker/docker/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md. Why is there no available update for the engine, and more importantly why is this update functionality removed?
March 14, 201610 yr Ubraid 6.2 beta 18 has the latest docker engine as of now, 1.10.2. There's some compatibility issues between the two and LT feels the effort to backport it to 6.1 is not worth it. There is some talk about this in the beta thread.
