March 14, 201610 yr Hi all. I am having trouble with really high load averages on my unRaid box. Right now this is the load: http://puu.sh/nFWxe/251d0e3427.png One user is watching media from the PlexServer. No downloads are running, no parity check is running, no cache move is running. I just can't see what is using all the system resources. It is my belief that if the load average is really high but CPU usage is nearly nil then the issue may be Disk IO. If thats the case how can I check this? I'll provide more details if people can tell me what they need. Its making the performance of the machine really poor. Thanks all.

If you've got CA installed, you can easily see the usage of the docker apps via its Resource Monitor Thank you Squid, I will keep that in mind. I think I may have found the issue though, I have the file integrity plugin installed and set to auto monitor files. I rebooted the server because it was basically not responding and had a load average of 80. When I logged in via IPMI to do it, there was a message about the inotify watches limit being reached. I googled a little and have since disabled the plugin, so far so far good. The next few days will tell.
March 14, 201610 yr Author Spoke too soon. It wasn't the file integrity plugin but it did take longer to reach 60 load average and become un-usable. Back to troubleshooting this stupid issue.
