March 22, 201610 yr Hello Community, i want to virtualize 1 PC 2 Stations for Work. My hardware: Processor: i5-2500 Mainboard: P67 Extreme 6 It's a test version. Under info: HVM Enabled IOMMU disabled... I want to passthrough my Graphics Card but unraid only shows me "VNC". Can anyone help me?
March 22, 201610 yr Community Expert You cannot pass through the GPU unless your hardware has VT-d support (i.e, IOMMU shows as enabled).
March 22, 201610 yr Author thank you for the fast response. Heres a link to my processor: http://ark.intel.com/de/products/52209/Intel-Core-i5-2500-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_70-GHz Intel® Directed-I/O-Virtualisierungstechnik (VT-d) ‡ -> Yes And now?
March 22, 201610 yr Sure VT-d is enabled? Most BIOS's have two spots: Virtualization enable/disable (which enabled VT-x) and VT-d enable/disable. Might also need a bios update
March 22, 201610 yr Community Expert Vt-D is activated ... maybe because testversion? No - the trial version is functionally identical to a licensed version - just time limited. Unless you can get unRAID to say IOMMU is enabled then there is some problem with getting VT-d working on your system. Note that it has to be supported at all levels - CPU, motherboard, Bios for it to work successfully.
