New to unRAID, my rig

I am a convert from FreeNAS recently, still migrating data over to unRAID. 

 

But currently here is my specs:

M/B: Supermicro - X10SLL+-F

CPU: Intel® Xeon® CPU E3-1230 v3 @ 3.30GHz

RAM: PC3-12800 32GB total

Controller: LSi 9211-8i (IT)

HD: 8x WD 4TB Red  (28TB usable)

 

coming soon: 4x 500GB SSDs (cache and VM storage)

For the highest quality signals, and the least amount of cross talk, you should never clean up sata cabling but rather leave them as is.
