How to configure the controller 9271 to work together with UNRaid? I cant' get detect the devices attachet to the controller :(

    I don't have knowledge of that particular model but search for IT firmware, it won't work with unRAID in RAID mode.

    The 9271-8i is dedicated h/w raid card - no IT firmware available.  If you need a simple IT-mode HBA something like Dell H310 might be better.  If not needed, you could probably sell the 9271 for quite a bit more than cost of HBA.  There are numerous guides to be found on forum for flashing Dell HBA to IT mode.

     

    Here is example link, although if you watch the "deals" forum they can be found for even less.
