[SOLVED] Can't SSH unRAID server

Featured Replies

I'd like to be able to SSH into the unRAID server I have, the version is 6.1.9.

But the server does not accept my calls. I'll post some images.

I can't really imagine why this would not work.

I've tried with root as well. No dice.

Would be really happy for your'e help!

That looks like you have installed some plugin?    If so maybe that is interfering with the ssh support that is now standard with unRAID.

I have removed the plugin and rebooted the server, but it did not work. Same error.

What are you seeing at the client end that is trying to make the connection?    The log fragment suggests that it was the client that disconnected.

Posting the full diagnostics from the unRAID server might help someone else come up with a theory of what is going wrong

If you look at the first image i attached, on the far right, you might have to scroll sideways, side there's the terminal of my client.

The user accounts are not intended for login through SSH. Go for root instead.

Edit: It is not clear if you tried root after removing the plugin or that the behavior is perfectly identical to your non-root example.

After a bit of research I found out that the password I used for root was wrong. My bad!

So everything is working fine now.

Finally I can reach midnight commander :)

Thanks!
