Looking for any Intel PCIe 2+ port NIC, compatible with unRaid.

 

I picked up a Pro/1000 IBM branded card that does not want to be recognized by unRaid, need something thatll drop in and be picked up. Going to be tinkering with pfSense VM.

So probably won't help you but this works fine with unRAID.  Except need to turn off flow control or dropped packets show up on nic 1.  Didn't see any on nic 2 but stopped using it now so can't recheck that.

I picked up this one earlier this year and have been using it in balance-rr mode with unRAID.

Before jumping into another older Intel part, you might want to visit the Intel Ark website and determine what Intel chip that IBM branded one you have is as well as the PCIe generation.  Some newer motherboards may not work with these older PCIe v1.0a cards.  In other words, it may be the motherboard preventing the card from being detected.
