September 7, 20169 yr Hello, A while ago I had used Unraid's free version and had already been pleased by it's functionality and flexibility, Hence I've decided I want to deploy a full-fledged system using some of the hardware I already have lying around. I have however started wondering how/what to the licenses are tied. To explain things: I currently have 3 old rigs and a bunch of parts I could swap around, considering performance I'd love to perform some more benchmarks before choosing my final configuration... Am I right by assuming the licenses are tied to the bootable USB, and hence are allowed to be migrated? Does one need to perform any additional actions before it may/can be migrated? I couldn't find any clear answers to that. Thanks for your time!

September 7, 20169 yr Note that the USB flash must remain plugged into that server while it is running because vital config data unique to that server is maintained there.
