Btrfs snapshots on array disc?

I really want some kind of versioning in my NAS. Just to protect against accidental delete. I use btrfs system, so I could make use of its snapshotting feature.

The question is - how the parity system would react to manually making snapshots from the console?

    Try it and find out. It will probably work just fine.

     

    I'm thinking of trying it myself just to have a "backup" folder I can send snapshots from my other systems to (using send/receive).
