Rsync files from old NAS to unRAID user share?

Unfortunately I'm on a Mac.

 

And I thought a command line version running from unRAID might be faster.

 

An alternative command I found is "diff -rq folder 1 folder 2" but I don't know if diff only looks for missing files.

 

I want to verify that the files in the new destination are good before I delete them off the older NAS.
