Featured Replies

Hi ho everyone,

after playing around with some VM's and randomly checking settings i notice that the UPS was not enabled.

So i enabled it, then started getting communication lost errors.

oh man, went back to the UPS settings page and sure enough its saying "communication lost"

i have an APC UPS ES-550G and when i remove the USB lead and reinsert it i get

Now this will have nothing to do with the VM's as they have been running etc, its just that what was what prompted me to be in teh main screen scheck etc.

the settings on the UPS pge are attached, but are pretty standard APC UPS.

Any idea where is should start?

Chris

Hi and thanks for your time.

If you are referring toa differetn USB port, yes i have tried then all except for the port the UNRAID USB stick is in same result.

(there was also a reboot in there just as a hail mary, hey i work in a windows world  :P )

Any other ideas?

Chris

Try changing where it says: UPS Type and you have APCSmart, see if you can change that to USB and see what happens.
