December 31, 20169 yr Author Thanks for your reply, I have not tried one at a time or on another PC using UnRaid trial yet. But my money is on some sort of motherboard incompatibility as you have suggested. I was looking to replace my AOC-SASLP-MV8 cards to get better speeds as they are only x 4, but looks if I want to keep the DELL cards I would have to replace the motherboard / CPU / memory, something which I can't afford to do at present.
December 31, 20169 yr Author I have now run both cards on another PC in Windows 10 (Where they are shown as DELL 6Gps SAS cards) togther with a AOC-SASLP-MV8 card for several hours. The PC booted fine and has not hang or locked up. I have booted to a trial version of UnRAID and the PC runs fine too So looks like an incompatibility problem with the motherboad that I am using for my UnRaid array. Thanks for your help, I will be putting the cards and SFF8087 forward cables up for sale
