[Solved] unRAID not seeing eno1

Featured Replies

unRAID is not seeing my nic after moving to a new/different motherboard.

The nic is an onboard nic.

After booting and logging into the counsel, I used ifconfig and got the following results

lo Link encap : Local Loopback
    inet addr : 127.0.0.1 Mask : 255.0.0.0

To confirm that the onboard nic was working, I rebooted to ubuntu from a usb.

ifconfig results when booted to ubuntu:

eno1     inet 192.168.2.222
             Bcast 192.168.2.255
            Mask 255.255.255.0

How do I get unraid to see the nic?

A zip of my syslog.txt is attached.

syslog.zip

How do I get unraid to see the nic?

By upgrading to v6?

If you're still on v5 and installed a recent model board it's very likely that v5 doesn't have a driver for the nic.

Upgrading worked.
