USB GUID already registered?

Featured Replies

So i'm trying to reinstall UNRAID. When I enter my original basic key and try to request a new one I get the following error:

The registered GUID does not match the USB Flash boot device GUID

Sorry, an error (403) occurred registering USB Flash GUID 13FE-5200-070B-3B456BF60121

The error is: GUID '13FE-5200-070B-3B456BF60121' is already registered to another user

It won't let me start the array with my original key and I it won't let me replace my key either. I don't know what else to do, I've email support, and was told to make a post here...

Any help would be much appreciated

Thanks

Where did you get your flash drive? If you bought someone else's license, then maybe they reused it on a replacement flash drive and so yours got blacklisted.

It's my own flash drive. I've installed UNRAID on it before. I purchased my basic key from lime tech.

Do you have multiple flash drives plugged in? Maybe it's seeing the wrong one.

Just one flash drive connect with an adapter to the motherboard. Should I unplug my hard drives from the old array?

Got it fixed! Was able to get a new key through support, finally.

Thanks trurl for initial correspondence on this.  This is sorted out now.
