stop array stalled when screen session open

Featured Replies

I tried to stop the array through the gui in order to reboot to update to 6.3.1. I noticed that it got stuck in a loop retrying to unmount disks. Kept scratching my head until I realized I may have forgotten a screen session open. Ssh'ed in and sure enough, a screen session with mc open in it (from several weeks ago). As soon as I exit mc and screen, array stops.

Not sure if the powerdown script would have gotten stuck as well in a power loss scenario (which would be bad). Just wanted to report here.

Thanks

Poweroff/Reboot is invoked with a time-out to catch these kind of "hanging" situations. In other words if you had waited long enough it should continue to poweroff or reboot.
