February 19, 20179 yr I just installed Ombi and I would like to have access to it from outside my network so my friends can make requests. I understand this has to be done with a reverse proxy? How do I set that up and will it mess with Sab, Sonarr, Radarr etc? Also is it safe? Thanks
February 19, 20179 yr Letsencrypt reverse proxy container. It only allows access to whatever you configure it to do so.
February 19, 20179 yr Author thanks, I will look at it, just to make sure I do need to use a reverse proxy to allow access to Ombi from outside my network right? Also how safe is using a reverse proxy compared to not using one? I would hate to get my server hacked.

Well, it's not as safe as not using one and a VPN is safer still, but assuming there aren't any unpatched exploits in nginx or docker or ombi, you should be good. I've been using one for years.
February 19, 20179 yr Author thanks, few more questions since I'm not great at this Network type is Bridge? Http Container port is 80? Https Container port is 443?
