March 12, 20179 yr Ive done the google/forum searches. I am at hour 3 or 4 working on this, time to ask for help. Ive got a PIAF .ova I want to boot up. I converted the VMDK to IMG, created a new CentOS VM, attached the disk1.img file i converted. VM does not boot. Ive changed various settings in the XML and get different errors each time. I think thats where my issue is, maybe not. Either way Im at a dead end. This is all new, ive been using UNRAID for about 3 days now. Love it, cant wait to get everything moved over. Crashplan, Owncloud, Plex are all working so far. Thanks in advance..Rick
March 12, 20179 yr this might not help but try changing target dev= to had, and bus to sata. also, post your full xml for the vm. have you tried making a fresh install of centos to get that working first to determine if it's setup vs. img problem?
March 12, 20179 yr Author Now Im getting "Boot Failed. EFI Device". I converted the image again to make sure i did it right. Attached to VM, created, loaded VNC and got that message. At least its something new.
