Guys,

 

I am having a horrible time copying files over gig-e from one array to the other, speeds are amazingly slow.  I'm trying to find a utility that I can easily get on unraid (via the nerdpack?) that will show progress and/or speed of a file copy, preferably a move.  Something like gcp or pv or rsync but a move command, not a copy command.

 

Anything come to mind?

 

Why would you want to complicate your test by doing a move? A move is just a copy from source to destination followed by a delete from source. You should be trying to isolate the problem.

 

Do you have any speed problems with specific disks on either system? Does the network work faster in one direction than the other? Etc.
