Cache device not mounting automatically

I have 'Enable auto start' enabled and my array starts fine when it boots up, but my cache drive just shows up in "Unassigned Devices" and I have to stop the array, add it to my cache devices and start the array again. Is there something I can do to make it automatically come up?
