June 1, 20179 yr Hi, just would like to know if i can use this methos to remove a disk from my array. https://www.linuxserver.io/2013/11/18/removing-a-drive-from-unraid-the-easy-way/ i dont have a parity disk, so i just would like to ask if it is that easy by creating a new config without that disk and remove it then physically. i moved all stuff from the disk to other disks already, disk is now completely empty,.in my case disk 3. so now i would follow the instructions by stopping array, create new config, select my 3 disks, start array, prey no data loss the reason is this disk doesnt like to come up after a real power cycle (power off, power on), works flawlessly on reboots but never after a real shutdown, always have to hotplug while inside BIOS and then reboot and then its back ... and as nothing works properly with an missing disk like VM´s i prefer replacing this disk at some time, for now a simple remove would be fine. sorry if its probably often asked, but all answers i found are in combination with parity disk setup ... thanks ahead.
