August 2, 20178 yr I struggle a lot with sporadic unresponsive GUI, but working SSH connections as well as unresponsive GUI and SSH terminal. As I start a new topic with debugging information I would like to prepare a fresh build using my licensed USB key. Debugging information is actually captured but need to wait for the next unresponsive session... Is there a procedure to save important files/settings/license items to be prepared for a fresh build? I assume to be saved: Disk layout (Informational to rebuild using the GUI) License File (copied from /boot/config as file) --> the pro.key file is not visible on the USB key when mounted /flash... Do I miss something? Docker Config (Informational to rebuild using the GUI) KVM XML with manual edits (as Text file for copy and paste) I would start as small and skimmed down as possible to avoid conflicts and perform debugging analysis while enabling apps/plugins, dockers, VM step by step. Initial start would be unRAID + Plex Docker only Searching the forum was not answering my question about the backup steps... Thanks a lot.

August 2, 20178 yr Community Expert The instructions for upgrade from ver 5 to ver 6 have the basic steps on what you have to do. Here is a link to the initial set of instructions: And to the WIKI which developed out of it which addresses virtually every issue that folks ran into. https://wiki.lime-technology.com/Upgrading_to_UnRAID_v6 If you are not upgrading (and apparently, you are not), you should probably have this section of the WIKI which will describe the purpose of each file and directory/folder that is on your current flash drive: https://wiki.lime-technology.com/Files_on_v6_boot_drive If after looking over all of this information including the link which @trurl has posted, you still have questions post back with them.
