After installing MacOs and beeing so dumb to copy qmenu file into xml, now in my Linux VM I have to manually select boot from file and choose it. Is there any way to delete the "Load File ... knex666
I found a solution: First I mounted the CD ISO again and booted from CD. I than choosed the first row and pressed E for edit and worte: search --no-floppy --file --set=root /boot/grub/grubenv configfile /boot/grub/grub.cfg After boot completed I opened a terminal and entered: sudo grub-install sudo update-grub Thanks to https://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/EFI_Problembehebung/ Link to comment
Lev
Wow thank you! I'm wishing I had this 48 hours ago. I gave up finally and went with Seabios, this probably would of solved it! Link to comment
brando56894
I had the same issues with Linux/EFI and just decided to go with SeaBIOS and an MBR grub install since EFI isn't really needed for VMs. Link to comment
