October 2, 20178 yr I'm running into an issue where my network connection is slowing down intermittently. This started about a week ago and I ave no idea where this is coming from. Please help unraid1-diagnostics-20171001-2213.zip Edited October 2, 20178 yr by eagle470 diagnostics
October 2, 20178 yr Community Expert I would suggest that you provide a detailed description of exactly what the issues are. What are you (or the server) doing at the time when it happens? How you know what is happening? Have you rebooted every device on your LAN (routers, switches, etc.)?
October 2, 20178 yr Author I would suggest that you provide a detailed description of exactly what the issues are. The system does periodic buffering while streaming videos on the local network. I can also see SABNZBD slowing it's download speed to a crawl, then resuming it's regular speed after a few minutes. This seems to affect the system as a whole. What are you (or the server) doing at the time when it happens? Plex, sabnzbd How you know what is happening? Watching cAdvisor and Sabnzdb Have you rebooted every device on your LAN (routers, switches, etc.)? Everything, many times. I even downgraded my router firmware to that from back in July (AsusMerlin 380_67.0.) Main Router syslog.txt BackEnd router syslog.txt
October 2, 20178 yr Community Expert I am no Guru on unRAID internal settings for Networking. I can see in your syslog and configuration files that you have two Ethernet interface NIC's. From your syslog (near the end), I can see that there were times when one or both of them were offline. I am hoping that one of the Gurus who understands more about how unRAID sets-up and manages NIC's and networking will jump in to have a look at your situation.
October 2, 20178 yr Author I moved the server off a down stream Ubiquiti switch to the 4 port switch in the back of the asus rt56R.
October 3, 20178 yr Author Still no idea what my issue is, I'm going to move the server to a different router and see if that helps.
