October 3, 20178 yr How can I confirm that all the files and folders on a non-array drive (mounted using Unassigned Devices) exist within similar folders on the unRAID array/shares—that is, that the content of the non-array drive is truly a subset of the stuff in the array? For example, on the non-array drive, I might have a TV folder with a bunch of show folders, each with a bunch of seasons, each with a bunch of episodes. The array *should* include all of those shows, seasons, and episodes—but also way more shows, more seasons of the same show, and more episodes of the same season of the same show. I'd be pretty happy with a quick check (i.e. filename, size, date) rather than something slow and exhaustive (i.e. contents)—none of the spot checks I've done so far has indicated file corruption is a problem. FWIW, I've got Krusader up and running, but I'm a total Linux/UNIX command line noob. Anybody got something that will save me from hand-comparing several TB of stuff...??

Go into Krusader in the menu bar along the top, you'll find a comparison / sync or something named like that. It's very powerful yet easy, you'll love it once you figure it out.
October 3, 20178 yr Author Of course I've already found the compare tool in Krusader. But I don't find it very powerful, probably because I also don't find it easy. I'm sure I'll love it once I figure it out.... But you've figured it out, so could you perhaps share exactly how you do what I'm trying (and failing) to do?
