October 9, 20178 yr I have a question on folder updates but not quite sure if this is a function of unraid or something else. If I have software either installed in a docker or on my HTPC such as plex or emby etc and have the application setup to monitor folders that it can import the files when new files or movies are added, does unraid support the functionality? I'm using Emby Server in a docker and have it set to monitor folders. Problem is when I do add an episode to a series, I noticed the library in the app doesn't get updated unless I do a manual rescan. I'm curious if I need to setup something in unraid or install an app for this?
October 9, 20178 yr Hi - This should really be a function of Emby or your HTPC and has little to do with unRAID. It does work though - for instance I have SickRage monitoring a folder and it finds new files without issue. Unfortunately I don't use Emby, but are you passing the location for new files into the Emby Docker? You might want to post your configuration on the Emby support thread.
