Webgui does not load

Featured Replies

First off let me start with that I know this is not an issue with unRAID, but rather related to the computer I'm trying to use to access the webgui. However, I've been unable to solve the problem on my own so here I am...

Whenever I try to access the unRAID webgui, I get the login prompt but after entering my credentials the page does not load. The issue is not related to any particular browser. Firefox simple leaves me with a blank tab, while Chrome and Edge and give me the following.

Now some observations:

1. I know this isn't related to the VPN I use to connect into my home network, as the problem persists even when I am at home connected to my LAN.

2. I know unRAID isn't the culprit, because I get a similar error when trying to access my router's webgui.

3. I know its related specifically to the computers I am using (Windows 10 OS), because I can access the webgui just fine from other computers.

Any recommendations on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated. I've tried just about everything short of a fresh install of Windows.

It might be worth going into Windows Credentials Manager and Clearing any stored credentials for the unRAID system.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't work.

Tried using just the IP address?

Just tried it. Same result :(

I am having the same issue.

For what it's worth, I was having a similar issue of not being able to boot into the web gui for initial setup. Same error messages as you were seeing. The booted up server was unreachable by a browser from another computer, or from an attached browser.

I was finally able to resolve this issue. For me, the underlying problem was an issue with the boot drive. Initially, I was making the boot drive off of a windows computer. I had tried making the boot drive with both the lime-tech usb maker program and by manually dragging the files to the usb drive. Both of those methods seemed to be working because I could see the unraid server going through and completing the boot process with an attached monitor, yet the new unraid server was unreachable via another computer by a web browser. I finally tried making the boot drive with my MacBook per the instructions and that worked for me...I am now in the server, have it set up and going.

Hopefully, this helps someone else!

So I found the root issue of my problem. Like I suspected it wasn't related to unRAID at all. It was a recent update to Bitdefender that did it. However, I haven't figure out how to solve the problem other than uninstalling BD since I am using the free version and it doesn't really let you change much.
