November 3, 20178 yr I'm trying to run Windows 10 VM on 6.2.4. I'm stuck on step 0 as I can't get the VM tab to come up. I have no idea what I'm missing. Diagnostics attached. server-pc-diagnostics-20171103-1151.zip
November 3, 20178 yr Community Expert On VM settings Libvirt location needs to be a file, not a folder, e.g.: /mnt/cache/VMs/libvirt.img You should also upgrade to latest unRAID.

November 3, 20178 yr Community Expert That was just an example, you need to specify a valid libvirt.img location for it to be created and stored.

November 5, 20178 yr Community Expert I already told you twice that you need to change the libvirt storage location from a folder to a file, let's try one last time, go to: Settings -> VM Manager -> Libvirt storage location Currently it's set to: /mnt/user/VM/ That's a folder, it needs to be a file, e.g.: /mnt/user/VM/libvirt.img

I was looking for an existing file, I didn't realize I had to actually type "libvirt.img" on to the end of the file location. Thanks. Edited November 6, 20178 yr by bcr621
