Naldinho
I am looking to pass through an entire SSD to use in a Windows 10 VM. Would I get better performance by buying a SATA controller and passing through the entire control vs just passing through the entire drive? My guess is that it would depend on the how much disk activity is already on the main board controller -- in this case, there isn't much. I have a few headless VMs that use the cache disk for their images but none of these are doing anything hard drive intensive and disk activity to the array is frequent but light and there is a cache drive in place.
