  1. Thank You. So it does look like there is a master diagnostics after all. Looking at this superficially I see a few errors that should probably be fixed that are not related to this problem but I don't know what I would look at to determine if the drives are failing or if the controller is the issue castle-diagnostics-20210510-0720.zip
  2. What I was looking for was what diagnostic to look at or post. My understanding is that there isn't a master diagnostic and through search I even got the impression that some diagnostics have to be posted before reboot so would be of no value now that I have rebooted many times and remove and added disks. I've just ordered two new data drives and will have them in a couple of days but I would still be interested in understanding how to diagnose an issue like this -- what do I look at/post specifically and is there anything I need to know about stuff I need to not do (like rebooting) or do (like turning on some kind of extra error logging) to create reports that are useful to pinpoint the problem.
  3. Can someone give me some insight on if I need to order new drives or how I can run some test to determine if I do. Details. 1) About two weeks ago one of my drives went offline. After removing it and putting it back in the array the drive reappeared. I was able to rebuild and everything was fine for 338 hours then the same thing happened. I can't be 100 certain it is the same drive -- it is from the same cage so I believe it is. 2) This time I can not rebuild. I tried to and I got a message about a drive had read errors. 3) SMART short self-test is no errors -- Extended self-test is running now. When this happened two weeks ago there were no errors. I do have a row highlighted UDMA CRC error count is at 121 -- Multi zone error rate has a raw value of 3. 4) A few months back the cache drive also went offline much like this data disk. I unplugged it then plugged it back in and it went back to working like normal. Normally I would assume the data drive just needs replacing -- it is 4 years and 5 months old but that there was a previous identical issue with the cache drive that was not the HD I'm concerned something else is failing. How would I determine if it is the drives or something else?
  4. I don't know what caused the problem as I didn't change any settings and haven't touched the settings in months but deleting the network.cfg file and rebooting fixed the issue. Thank you for the help.

  6. I can't access the unRAID interface from any computer. I've had unRAID for years and did not change anything. Was just watching content on Plex and it froze and then could to access the interface. Have rebooted numerous times. The unRAID machine does boot and I get to the login prompt and I can login to command line. The IPv4 addresses listed shown above the login prompt is correct. I can not SSH into the unRAID from any machine. Also can not ping it. From the unRAID machine I can not ping anything on the network. I've looked around boot for some kind of log file that might have clues but all I can find are diagnostics files that from the file names appear to be are 3-4 years old The mainboard has dual NICs and I tried switching to the other port but did not change anything. I've tried rebooting the router as well as all the switches. I don't really understand how a setup that was working would just stop working -- the only thing I can think of is physical failure of NIC which I can check tomorrow when I get a add on ethernet card but I was hoping people could help me out with some other possible causes or tests / logs I could check.
  7. A few weeks back I had an issue that the community helped me out. Deluge stopped working and can't be restarted until I run /sbin/modprobe iptable_mangle Since this I've had to do it 3-4 times. Basically Deluge works fine and then one day I notice it isn't working and won't restart so I just run the command and it works fine. Is there something I can do to permanently fix this? This is a new development as I've run the same setup for a few years.
  8. Problem resolved -- If anyone ends up here with a similar issue the solution was to Allow Guest Logins in the registry. Despite this being allowed in Group Policy the value in the registry was set to zero. Changing that to one fixed the issue. I'm confused as to why Windows has two independent ways to set this and why changing it in group policy doesn't automatically alter the registry edit but whatever it works now.
  9. I'm unable to access any of my shares from a Windows 10 computer that updated last night -- worked fine before that. I know about SMB1 (active) and Allowing Guest Logins in group policy (Enabled). Turn off-password protection is set to off. So the obvious issues are covered. I have noth NetBIOS and WSD enabled on both unraid machines. I can access shares from other computers that did not update. I can ping the unraid machines and they respond Any suggestions?
  10. Thank you. That worked. I ignore that line since it said "outside your LAN" and I never access Deluge from outside of my LAN and as such I did not think it was relevant to my setup
  11. I am still having issues and am still trying to discover if I am having the same issue as everyone else or something different. Logically I would assume it is the same issue as everyone else but looking at my log file (which I posted a page or two back) I believe I'm connecting to PIA. Can someone tell me what error message I could search the log for that would establish that I am having the same issue as everyone else?
  12. Ok so here is my log file. Everything use to work fine and I did not change anything and I've tried all the suggestions without any success. supervisord.log.txt
  13. I read the last few pages and I'm still having issues and can't determine if my issue is the same as everyone else. I can't open WebUI. It works fine if I turn off PIA it works. I have port forwarding set to no. I've tried various configs including NextGen ones. I also have this error insmod: ERROR: could not load module /lib/modules/iptable_mangle.ko: No such file or directory So is this the same issue everyone else is having or something different?
  14. This one https://forum.deluge-torrent.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=47243 I tried just another plugin that I am not interested in and also same issue.
  15. I can't install plugins -- I searched for an answer but have not found one. When I try to select the egg file I get [Object FileList] When I try to install the plugin by just copying the egg file to the plugin directory that also doesn't install it In NerdPack I've turned on all the Python options The plugin I am trying to install is AutoRemovePlus which is 2.0 compatiable. Any idea what the issue is?
  16. I had a stable Windows 10 VM running on an SSD that I pass-through for the exclusive use of the VM. I ended up needing to use the Windows 10 reset feature which basically reformats the drive and installs a clean version of Windows. The VM is freezing up now -- it seems like this happens on heavy load. Whatever is happening actually crashes the entire unRaid machine leading to a reboot. When you do a complete reset is there anything that needs doing beyond that? This isn't the first time I have had to do a reset and the previous times it was fine but that it is unstable this time makes me think maybe drivers or some setting needs to be done manually. I'm also getting a bad echo on audio and this was a problem when I set up the VM originally 2+ years ago but I was able to fix that with the help of the unRaid community back then so just need to find the topics but figured worth mention in case it is related.
  17. The lack of any error message related to bad paths led me to put Sonarr aside and attempt to deploy Radarr -- using the exact same path settings as well as program settings Radarr works perfectly. I think that would rule out an issue with paths. Does anyone have any insight into what else could possibly be causing Sonarr to fail to know the torrent is finished and ready to move? I've checked the logs for both errors and warnings and there are no errors and the warnings none are relevant to this.
  18. The second screenshot is from Deluge I have changed things a few times since then but at that time the Deluge setting for Completed was set to /downloads which I has mapped to /mnt/user/Downloads/completed/ and in Sonarr I mapped /downloads to /mnt/user/Downloads/completed/ so my understanding is Deluge would tell Sonarr the file is downloaded and in /downloads and then Sonarr would go to the same place
  19. I believe I had already tried that and it didn't work for me. I think that is what I have setup here In your post, you mention that there would be an error with the word "import" in the error but I am not finding that in the Sonarr logs. Is that significant? I have Drone disabled but if I was to enable it then everything works fine so it is not a permissions issue.
  20. I thought I had a basic understanding of it but apparently not given how I am struggling with this. I am under the impression that my goal is to get both mappings to match which they do in the above configuration. Completed downloads are put in /downloads by Deluge which is mapped to /mnt/user/Downloads/completed/ in Deluge and in Sonnar /downloads is also mapped to /mnt/user/Downloads/completed/ No back up and cache SSD stopped working. I think all the configurations were on the cache drive so when it died they were gone.
  21. Help with paths. I had my system working fine but now that I was required to start over I can't get the configuration to work. I've been trying since yesterday -- tried googling and keep finding things I think will resolve the issue but it doesn't. Hoping someone will be nice enough to help me. Everything works up to the point where Deluge doesn't signal back to Sonarr that the torrent is finished and ready to move. Obviously, there is something that I am not getting and I've tried a dozen variations and none of them work for me.
  22. Thank you. Problem solved. It was an issue with OpenVPN files
  23. I've been using this docker for some time with no issues but now it has stopped working on both my unRaid machines. I removed the docker and installed it again and no luck. I've left everything as the default values except for PIA username and password obviously, added LAN_NETWORK 10.1.1.0/24, and changed the path. I also added the opvn file and crt file downloaded from PIA. I choose the strong option if that makes a difference. I can't access the WebGUI. I get a connection refused error. The last line in the supervisord.log is 2018-05-24 08:50:35,675 DEBG 'start-script' stdout output: [info] OpenVPN started
  24. For the last two days, I have been having a bunch of issues getting to the Dockers panel. I have two unRaid machines and the problem is on both of them. On machine #1 I mostly just get a timeout. on machine #2 I get Not Available in red for the version numbers of all the dockers and gray circles with white question marks for the icons. Machine #2 has only four dockers while machine #1 has more thus why it normally times out although I have occasionally gotten the red Not Available for version numbers. Originally I thought this was somehow piHole related as the problem started after I installed the piHole docker on both networks but there is nothing in the piHole logs that indicate any DNS requests are being blocked. I also disabled piHole on one network and the problem persisted so now not certain if it is piHole related or not. Has anyone seen this before?
