May 20, 201016 yr Just tried to access Tower but it was unavailable. I could ssh to it and found this in my syslog: May 20 21:44:15 Tower kernel: BUG: unable to handle kernel paging request at 02c32f20 May 20 21:44:15 Tower kernel: IP: [<c1068767>] kmem_cache_alloc+0x64/0x9e May 20 21:44:15 Tower kernel: *pdpt = 0000000024754001 *pde = 0000000000000000 May 20 21:44:15 Tower kernel: Oops: 0000 [#2] SMP May 20 21:44:15 Tower kernel: last sysfs file: /sys/devices/platform/w83627hf.656/temp3_input May 20 21:44:15 Tower kernel: Modules linked in: md_mod xor ide_gd_mod ata_piix piix sata_promise r8169 May 20 21:44:15 Tower kernel: May 20 21:44:15 Tower kernel: Pid: 4802, comm: python Tainted: G Killed Something to worry about? I can access it now, but some of the services I was running (SABnzbd, slimserver, bits of unMenu) are unavailable. I'm running 4.5.4. Thanks!

May 20, 201016 yr Author Just tried to stop the array so I could power down, and the web gui just says 'Stopping....' no matter how many times I refresh. Bit worried now...
May 20, 201016 yr That indicates that one or more of your disks are busy. (The ones that still say "unmounting" are those that are busy) You'll need to terminate the processes that have open files on those disks so they may be un-mounted. Once you do, the array will stop. Joe L.
May 20, 201016 yr Something must still be accessing the drives.. check your processes.. Guess Joe was faster
May 20, 201016 yr Author What's the fastest way to find out what that process is ? (thanks guys!) I've killed pretty much everything that isn't standard and it's still stuck on Stopping

May 20, 201016 yr Author I'll try it next time - I had to hard reset it to get it working. df -kh wouldn't show the disks as mounted - said file missing or something for both. It's now doing a parity check so hopefully the data is ok. I'm a bit worried about those kernel traces
