Adding Disk To Array

Featured Replies

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could assist me with a couple of issues I am experiencing.

This is my first UnRaid build and I am currently running the trial.

I have a total 14 Drives, 2 Parity Drives and 2 Cache Drives. All of them are being connected to three LSI 9211 Cards in IT Mode.

I am experiencing issues when adding the 10th 3TB ( WDC_WD30EFRX-68AX9N0_WD-WCC1T0527425) data drive. It does appear as an unassigned device when the array is stopped.

Also, the system has really slow performance when the array has not been started yet but once I start it, everything seems to work fine.

Thank you

I installed unassigned devices and got the following logs from the disk drive that I am unable to add to the array.

Disk Logs.txt

Does this mean the drive is bad?

Could this be the reason the system is lagging when the array has not been started.

Check cables, if all is well it's probably a disk issue, lag is probably related.

Thanks for your help.

I removed the drive and I haven't experience any issues.
