It makes you believe that only windows XP needs the jumper. You need the jumper on unRAID too. And better put the jumper right away, before you install the drive, or you may run into troubles. Look carefully which pins are 7 and 8! (they are to the left) Link to comment
Rajahal Posted June 4, 2010 Share Posted June 4, 2010 Right, most people would consider unRAID to fall under 'all other OS', which WD claims does not require the jumper. This is incorrect. By the way, that sticker appears on all WD drives now, even in the US. The small text on the drive label repeats the same information. Link to comment
