June 21, 201016 yr The issue I'm having is when I log onto my NAS using "user2", I can not access a folder that is allowed for user1 only even if I type in the user1 credentials in the pop up prompt. The only way I can get it to work is by typing "net use * /delete" then enter in the user1 credentials. I get the error below "You might not have permission to use the network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permission. Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again." I am running Windows 7.
June 21, 201016 yr This is a well known issue with Windows. http://www.google.com/search?q=Multiple+connections+to+a+server+or+shared+resource+by+the+same+user%2C+using+more+than+one+user+name%2C+are+not+allowed.
