zeieri
Hi All, Working on a new unRAID build and unRAID cannot see my HBA (LSI SAS 9201-16e). I can't even find anything within unRAID to make them available. I have 12 3tb drives in the disk array and the BIOS can see the HBA. Does anyone have an idea on what I am missing here? Thank You! JorgeB
It should be plug'n play, please post your diagnostics: Tools -> Diagnostics. Link to comment

JorgeB
Controller is being correctly detected and initialized but no disks are detected, are any disks detected in the controller bios? How are they connected and what cables are you using? Link to comment
zeieri
You are correct. The HBA isn't seeing any devices connected. It is connected via a Mini-SAS to QSFP+ cable to a DS4243. Troubleshooting now to see if a different port on the HBA or disk shelf make a difference. Otherwise, not too sure on next steps. Link to comment
zeieri
So I tried a different port on the HBA and the enclosure is now visible. Getting into unRAID now to see if the disks are visible. Link to comment
zeieri
Disks are now visible. Is there a way to make multiple arrays? I have 12 3TB disk and I want them in two sets of 6 with one parity drive each to put them into RAID5 Link to comment
JorgeB
Nope, you can only have one parity protected array, you can also have a redundant btrfs cache pool, but should only use raid1/10 since btrfs raid5/6 is not stable yet. Link to comment
