rootfs is reporting full???, webui does not load array info, flips from array undefined to array started ... diag attached. Totally useless release.

 

Nevermind, can't even attach to get the diag file ... Can't produce diag from the webui ...

Nevermind, can't cut and paste log out of the window ... OK this is very frustrating and not what I have come to expect from unRAID over my 7 years using it.

The diagnostics is all empty files.

Regarding your cache device. Did you use UD and formatted the disk with it before turning it to cache device?

 

Ps. Try starting in safemode

I cannot recall if I used UD or not, this is my primary unRAID and been around for years. Will try safemode if some other avenues fail (as this is a headless machine).

 

Can one set the next reboot to be safe mode via a flag somewhere?

You need to take out the flash device and put it in your PC.

Edit the file /syslinux/syslinux.cfg and move the line menu default under the section safemode.

The above will let unRAID start in safemode without plugins and GUI.

OK, safe mode likes me so it's got to be a plugin (FYI I nano'd the syslinux.cfg via the webgui terminal, that new feature I DO LIKE VERY MUCH).

 

Just reformatted my cache drive & copying its data back to it now.

 

Once cache copies I will reboot and then tomorrow pick this up again and determine which plugin ... I have a diag from before that may have the plugins listed ...

Known plugins which may cause problems are:

 

- Preclear

- S3 sleep

 

Best to uninstall these plugins for the time being.
