100% noob here with unraid only had it for 2 days lol, i have 1x500gb hdd and 3x3tb hdd (soon 1x3tb parity hdd just copying files from it), when i do a speedtest i get slow download speed and slow upload speed, i have included a few images of my setup, i have changed a few things to test like the mtu in network settings to 7500 and back as this did nothing for the speed, fix common problems plugin showed no errors, transfer speed from a windows pc to the array is 80-150mb over the network, router issues a static ip to the unraid, i have a fixed ip for sabnzbd which goes through my vpn setup on the router, i have changed the static ip on the router just incase and disabled the vpn and got the same speeds, any help would be great once again noob here so simple is the way 

 

The plugin doesn't always show the real speed, especially with faster connections, if you have a VM and test using a browser you should get the normal speeds.

 

 

ok cool ill turn off the vpn and download a large file when i finish copying and see what it gives me thxs

atm dont have a vm installed i have sabnzbd to download and this tops out at 40mb/s which is faster than speedtest but still slow, tested sab with all network types and different ip set in the programs setting and defualt (just incase) the ports for the other 2 docker programs are different

i have check my asus router to monitor the bandwidth and speeds and also install a monitor tool on the server and both show max speed 40mb/s i have checked the switch and router and the server is connected at 1gb and have changed the cable that was in another pc in same room with full speed download just to test.

 

is there anything i can try i dont have vm's installed as im still learning and dont need any tbh

I think I have the same problem. I have a 1000/1000Mbps connection and I reach a maximum of 309/158Mbps and my ping is 25ms.
