I upgrade to latest stable and have noticed that I can't point kodi at any shares when I try and browse smb i get error 2 share not available.  I have no trouble accessing and watching existing shares on  kodi just can't point to any new ones

What do I need to do to resolve thanks

You need to describe the problem in more detail.  Exactly where the problem is.  Is it on the server or on some device that is running Kodi?  If it is on the server, how are you running it?  Have you asked on the support thread for the Kodi app that you are using?  Can you browse the shares in question from your PC?

Posting up a diagnostics file is often useful.   Tools    >>>>   Diagnostics

Please ignore I am having a Kodi problem but i don't think it is related after more grunt work.

I DO have folders that are inaccessible in Kodi but from my win10 laptop also can't get to them, trying workarounds from the terminal.
