Except for those cache errors everything looks fine, when the rebuild finishes move the SSD to one of the onboard SATA ports, to see if there are no more errors and also because there are reports of trim not working with LSI2308 and latest releases.

    Will do, although it was on an onboard port until last night, so I'm guessing you're right, since these didn't pop up until I added it to the SAS controller. May I ask what would go bad in a power adapter to cause both drives to randomly drop?

    Molex adapters are notoriously flaky, and can go wrong at any time.
