March 16, 20188 yr I currently have an old 2TB disk as my cache disk in one of my servers. I'd like to replace it with a 3 or 4TB disk. I have an external disk cloner, could I simply just use it to clone the existing cache disk to a newer larger disk?
March 16, 20188 yr Community Expert No, the partition will remain the original size and then considered invalid by unRAID, what file system is your current cache?
March 16, 20188 yr Community Expert With btrfs you could do an online replacement, but not with xfs, if you have an available port you can always format and mount the new disk with UD, copy the data over, then just assign the new disk as cache.
