Joeyleigh
Hi All, Ram problems with VM and docker containers.... Tried searching on the forum but no joy. Radarr as you know is a fork from sonarr, however, its not polished and i expect memory leak is happening. Currently when the container starts, runs around 150-200MB Ram allocation. Once this settles, over several hours climbs into 5 - 6GB Territory. This then follows me restarting the container to remove the high amount of ram. If this is not cleared then for some reason my Ram within my VM (Win10) Crashes and produces this error log. * 2018-03-18T18:12:37.120335Z qemu-system-x86_64: cannot set up guest memory 'pc.ram': Cannot allocate memory VM will only restart if i change from 8gb to 4gb allowance. My system Holds 16gb split in half for Unraid+VM (8+8) When i keep radarr off - this never happens, however, i was made to believe Ram dedicated to VM is not touched by Docker/container? Anyone know a command line to limit a CERTAIN container RAM (Not the docker as a whole) Cheers and Thanks Quote Link to comment
Squid
Although, I have never seen ANY such leaks from Radarr etc. Are you sure that its not cached ? Edited March 18, 2018 by Squid Quote Link to comment

The legendary Squid!!! Thanks Man! Followed your advice - Hopefully that's sorted. Attached image just in case you notice anything wrong. Not sure if radarr leaks however, reading the Git Page a few people mention Ram usage with common unpolished leaks so assumed this could be the problem. Currently my Radarr holds over 900 films so its taking a beating. Not sure if 1G will be enough now but then how much ram should it need as a docker? For anyone else looking for the information its within squids "F**k, i need help" outstanding FAQ Collection HERE Quote Link to comment
